Slime, Sammy and Snowball are our three class pets.
They are giant African land snails; they need to be fed and watered daily and their tank needs to be cleaned out once every two weeks.
What’s amazing about all land snails is that they are hermaphrodites - something that has both male and female parts. This means that our snails can easily mate with each other and that we can’t label any one of them as either a boy or a girl.
