End of term

Well done for making such a great start to Year Four by working well this term; I’m really proud of what we, as a class, have achieved. Next term has lots to offer… we’re going to be using an interactive world game called Myst to help us improve our writing, we’re going to be looking at freezing and melting in science and we’re going to be completing Christmas art and design projects.

Please spend some time thinking about codes and ticks over half term - should we carry on using ticks as we do, or should we be using reward codes instead? Let me know what you think by leaving a comment.

Have a great half-term break trouble makers! :)

Star of the week - Cameron

Cameron was chosen to be next week’s star of the week for being polite, working very hard, setting good examples for others, being a good friend… the list could go on for ever! Since day one Cameron has really impressed me with his excellent attitude and behaviour. Well done Cameron - have a great week as our star. :)

Design me a blog banner!

Last year Megan drew and coloured in a really nice picture that I scanned and used as the banner for my blog. The banner is the picture at the top of my blog - my banner at the moment shows two aliens standing upside down on a planet.

If you have some spare time, why not have a go at drawing your own picture that I can use as a new banner? You don’t need to worry about writing ‘Mr Lovegrove’s class blog’ or ‘Sonning Common Primary School’ on your design - just draw and colour a picture and I’ll do the rest. Your drawing can be of anything - it could be of you, your friends, the school, our classroom… or of something else.

I’ll only use pictures that are neatly drawn and well coloured in, so take your time if you decide that you want to do this. Please draw your picture on plain white paper only.
